Coffee Cup Recycling

Coffee cup recycling is still a mystery for some. Take away cups look like paper, but a thin plastic liner inside holds their liquid contents. That makes recycling coffee cups slightly more difficult - but not impossible!
Yes, that's right: different from popular belief, coffee cups can be recycled!
We collect and recycle coffee cups by separating paper and plastic and giving each material a new life - they're turned into shopping bags, notebooks and cardboard, for example.
Our coffee cup recycling sacks can fit up to 250 cups stacked inside each other - order your sacks today and start recycling coffee cups in your workplace!

Benefits
London and Birmingham business can order coffee cup recycling sacks on our customer portal or over the phone. Each sack can fit approximately 250 cups (depending on size) if stacked inside each other and between 100 and 150 if not stacked - which is usually what would happen when customers chuck coffee cups in the bin in a shop.
Our collection trucks pick up these coffee cups for recycling, along with our other waste and recycling streams, and drive them back to our award-winning Sacktory facility. There, all coffee cups are sorted from the rest of the materials, shredded and baled, before being sent off to a processor.
Done! In a few weeks, these recycled coffee cups are back as other paper products.
Recycling coffee cups doesn't have to be a problem. Contact us today and join the revolution!
