Lush
Their Challenge
Founded in 1995, Lush is a multinational business with 951 stores worldwide. Their retail stores sell a range of bathroom products and cosmetics such as soaps, lotions, moisturisers and their famous bath bombs.
Lush is dedicated to minimising packaging for their products. They employ recycled plastic and cardboard for packaging and need a zero-to-landfill solution to ensure all waste is recycled, enabling them to achieve their sustainability goals.
First Mile's Solution
We set up regular collections for Mixed Recycling, Cardboard, Glass, Food and Paper to ensure as much of their waste is recycled as possible. We also offered large 1100L wheelie bins for higher volumes of waste to avoid the build-up of full sacks at each location.
Our zero-to-landfill approach also aligns with Lush's sustainability goals, which include creating a closed-loop economy with their packaging.
