Chilango
Chilango's Challenge
Founded in 2007, Chilango serves Mexican street food across London, Manchester and Birmingham dining spaces inspired by modern Mexican-American culture, serving burritos, tacos, and their signature hotboxes. They have been a First Mile customer since 2021.
A growing business with multiple locations across London, Chilango produce a lot of waste that requires daily collections. As a restaurant, their waste mainly consists of food and cardboard.
First Mile's Solution
We set up a dedicated Food Recycling stream to minimise food waste and boost their recycling rate.
Our team also conducted regular audits to ensure all waste was being disposed of correctly and we can work with them to implement any necessary changes for improvement.
